This season Mrs. Prada and Raf Simons loosened up the Prada man in more ways than one as they examined “truth and pretense”; what is real and what is not. After a buttoned-up fall men’s collection, the duo loosened up trousers, shrunk the sleeves in coats, and added playful creased details to cardigans and tailoring. Miuccia Prada’s spring show for @MiuMiu took place in Paris today with a cast including Hilary Swank and Willem Dafoe. Together with an archival print reissue and the singular mix of athleticism and eclectic glamour that has come to define this era of the label, Mrs. Prada doubled down on the no-pants look, shrinking running shorts and paring them with shirting and classic sweaters.
