When I talk about Indian food to anyone from US, most of the time the first thing they say is tikka masala and naan. That’s pretty much what people think Indian food is! But the reality is so different, I grew up eating everyday food exactly like this- a dal, a sabzi (which was usually any seasonal vegetable), yogurt in some form, roti, salad. I am missing the rice here but this was pretty much my lunch everyday! So satisfying, wholesome and just the best. Tell me what your everyday lunch plate
