Alaska Animal Rescue - Wolf Enrichment

I first saw a wolf in Alaska almost 30 years ago. I have been remarkably unlucky seeing wolves since that time. The few glimpses of wolves I’ve caught in that long timespan have all been fleeting, and at a distance. Until last week. This wolf sat on a bluff above the riverbank where I was sitting and called out to its pack. Eventually, another wolf showed up, but it was more grey in color. Then the white wolf came down from the bluff to within 30 feet of where I was sitting on the river’s edge.
