One Piece The Movie: Episode of Arabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates is the eighth movie in the anime and manga series, One Piece. It is an abridged movie retelling of the Arabasta Arc. It was released on March 3, 2007 and debuted at #2 in the Japanese box office.

Movies 8 and 9 are both based on story arcs of the anime/manga of One Piece. Episode of Arabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates is based on the Arabasta Arc and Episode of Chopper Plus: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Sakura is based on the Drum Island Arc.

It is the eighth film in the One Piece media franchise, adapting a story arc from the original manga by Eiichiro Oda, wherein the Straw Hat Pirates travel to the Kingdom of Alabasta to save the war-and drought-plagued country from Sir Crocodile and his secret crime syndicate Baroque Works.
