2020年1月9日 · She jumps it to get it home and also tells me her doors won't lock/unlock with the fob or door switch. Take the car to the dealer to get battery/charging system checked out....the battery is toast but charging system is OK. Asked about door lock issue and dealer says the actuators are probably bad.....$250-350 each to replace.

2019年3月16日 · Hi i have a santa fe 2012 with door locking issues. The fob and button in car will not lock the car just makes clicking noise as if its engaging but not locking. Also the key when turned in lock only locks drivers door. We have changed drivers door main actuator and still no difference and also checked all fuses and they are working.

2012年7月27日 · I have a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and over the last 3 weeks I have been having a lot of trouble with my door locks. One thing is my automatic lock that happens when you hit 14mph, everytime I hit 14mph my doors sound like they are locking 4 times, and everytime I stop and take off again they sound like they are locking 4 more times.

2017年11月5日 · The door lock motors malfunction. This is a common problem in many cars, not just Hyundais. My '01 Santa Fe had the problem with the right front being reluctant to lock/unlock at times. My 2012 SF has a similar problem developing in the left rear, same as yours.

2019年9月14日 · Be aware that if it is the front passenger door the door lock actuator on internet sites will not work!! At least on the 2010 Santa Fe. The design on the replacement part will not go on the door bracket!! Ordered one but was wrong and then looked at all the pictures and they are pretty much the same as the one I bought.

2018年4月6日 · I disconnected the wires going to the handle....and no more problem. My best guess is the button on the handle malfunctioned. The only complete fix is to replace the entire door handle, which is $133 at the dealer. In the mean time, the door handle and fob are back to working like normal, just no locking and unlocking using that button.

2015年9月19日 · The driver's door on my 2010 Santa Fe will no longer lock electronically. For a while it would not lock periodically. Then today, it stopped unlocking and locking all together. After reviewing other threads on this forum dealing with the same issue. I would like to target the relay first before replacing the door module.

2014年6月3日 · Same door lock issue here I have the same issue on my 2007 Santa Fe. Half the time the drivers door lock won't lock using the fob... other half it works normally. Depends on the day. I can manually push the door lock button closed & door locks when closed. Very occasionally the fob won't un-lock the drivers door (but the key does). Aggravating!

2018年1月13日 · Last month or so on our 2013 SFS we experienced that after exiting a vehicle and trying to lock it car will go haywire. It will lock unlock 5-6 times (at least!) very quickly. Almost like it is"possesed" and only way to stop this is to open door and hit manual door lock or unlock button. Tryed 2nd remote fob to use but same thing will happen.

2019年1月23日 · Here’s a link to a service manual. Look under body it may help. I haven’t delved into the Hyundai door world yet but have done plenty of others . There pretty much all the same. There’s only 2 rods that go back and forth in there. One for latch one for lock. You can see which one is which by watching it move.
