Timothy James Walz (/ w ɔː l z / ⓘ; born April 6, 1964) is an American politician, former educator, and retired United States Army non-commissioned officer who has served since 2019 as the 41st governor of Minnesota.

Governor Tim Walz signed the One Minnesota Budget into law alongside Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic, House Speaker Melissa Hortman, and DFL legislators on the front steps of the State Capitol.
