Louis Tomlinson (/ ˈluːi ˈtɒmlɪnsən /; born 24 December 1991) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. Tomlinson auditioned for British singing competition The X Factor as a solo artist in 2010, but was eliminated.
