My P5 Review (writeup & YouTube) | Walther Forums
2022年5月12日 · The P5 had a gritty trigger pull but was manageable. The main marketing failure of the P5 was that Walther was too dumb to make the pistol into a 15 shot gun with a double stack magazine. They chose to stick with the low capacity Walther P38 style single column magazine although they do not interchange even though they do look somewhat similar.
Is Walther's P5 expensive because is rare or good? - The Firing Line
2016年3月13日 · The P5 is a product improved P38, same locking system, the barrel is supported front and aft which probably reduced machining cost. The P38 barrel is supported by a frame rail cut whereas the P5 barrel does not ride in a groove cut, it sits on top of the frame.
Walther P5 long barrel | Walther Forums
2018年12月25日 · The P5 line is the last handgun produced by Walther with this design. After over 30yrs, I would bet most of the ~68 P5Langs have been fired and/or lost items from their packages. I would personally accept a price of $2500 to $3000 for an incomplete package 90% shooter P5L, and ~ $5000 for a NIB/unfired full Ulm package.
Shooting review: Walther PDP-F 3.5 vs HK P7M13 vs Walther P5 …
2023年1月26日 · Semi blocky, reset further forward than most Walther SAO strikers, NO PADDLE RELEASE Last up was the Walther P5 Compact. At 3.1" of barrel length, I expected it to be the snappiest of the bunch. Because of its falling locking block system however, it …
The all in Walther P88 review from MattyD
2022年8月19日 · Thanks again for the kind words. I plan to review my Gen 1 P99 in the somewhat near future. And one of these days hopefully I’ll get my hands on a full-size P88. And a P1. And a P4. And a Q4SF. I feel like the “short list” never gets any shorter…
Prices on P5s - Walther Forums
2018年8月10日 · Here's my track on the P5: Walther P5 Pistol in 9x19. Blue Book of Gun Values (39th Edition) indicates between $950 in 95% condition and $1500 in 100% condition for this gun. I have 64 recorded prices for this model gun from $505 to $2726 over a period of 3 Yrs 8 Mos ending March 15, 2018. The average price as of that date was $1046.
Why no love for the P4? - Walther Forums
2010年8月28日 · The modifications were not expensive to implement, and materially improved the gun. Possibly the changes were made in order to obtain a new police order (I don't know, that's just a guess). In any event, the P4 was only an interim model, and the production run was very short. A quantum leap --the P5-- was already on the drawing boards. M
Thought I might like a P5 - then started searching | Walther Forums
2023年10月30日 · You can find a decent shooter grade for $1k, but spend the money and get a nice one. You can thank me later. The P5 is, arguably, the best all-metal pistol ever made by Walther. Yes, I love all my Walther children, but the P5 is one that I will never be without. The design is rock solid, based on the underrated P4 and the uber-iconic P38/P1.
My P5 with 7,65 barrel - Walther Forums
2018年12月24日 · Cabala's Gun Library staff gave me a bit of a runaround on that specific Cat 1062 P5. Was considering a 2nd one for the safe (I have 2 sons that will eventually inherit my collection). Congrats on the purchase, glad it went to a forum member. I actually grabbed a 2nd 30 Luger barrel for my shooter 9mm P5, came across it on Gun Broker.
Walther P5 - The Firing Line Forums
2001年8月24日 · Walther made the P5 with a heavy duty enclosed slide. The P38 pistols were noted for cracked slides because of the defective design of the open top slide. Open top slides such as found on the Walther P38 and Beretta 92 have very little metal in the side rails and when they crack they can also fail catastrophically throwing metal back into the ...
