During the early 50's, Ronald, O'Kelly and Rudolph Isley were accompanied by their brother Vernon, who died in a bicycling accident during 1955 at the age of 13. The group relocated to New York the following year and issued a few one-off singles before being signed by the RCA Records production team, Hugo And Luigi.
