Sun Moon Lake is advertised as something special because it is the only such lake in Taiwan. Most people who have lived and traveled elsewhere in the world have probably seen and been to many lakes of the same kind. If you want to spend time in nature in Taiwan, there are better places with fewer tourists of the annoying kind.

2016年3月8日 · I stated in Yuchi nearby in sheshui community , loads of great b&b S, beautiful area, tea farms, quiet. Nantou is the garden of Taiwan it's worth exploring. You can get guide books for nantou rent a car and go. Sun moon lake is good for a quick visit, idathao quay also has a lot of great snacks, quality was better than years ago!

2016年5月13日 · Sun Moon lake has its merits though. There is a really neat aboriginal park there in addition to some really good food at the market by the lake. For the sake of convenience I would probably just stay in Taipei on your first visit. You can take buses for day trips from there all over the place; for instance Yilan is like an hour away.
