2022年8月25日 · You're mistaken, the steam decks charger is a maximum of 3 amp, it pushes 50-65 watts. If the car chargers you have are genuinely rated for 40+ watts in a single port, and your cable is to, there's a possibility your cigarette lighter port isn't getting the full 12v or full amperage needed to push everything.

2022年12月7日 · Yes, you can get a charger that will plug into the 12v accessory socket / automobile auxiliary power outlet / "cigarette lighter" and convert that to a USB-C port that will deliver the 15v @ 3A USB Power Delivery that the Steam Deck wants. Just search the online store of your choice and you'll find options.

2022年9月26日 · That is the one I use for my phone and it fast charges my Steam Deck when I'm not using it. Also note on the Baseus 160W car charger Digital Advantage linked. That isn't going to give you 100W on the top USB-C port unless its a Qualcomm QuickCharge 5 device that supports their 20V/5A charging circuit.

2023年1月6日 · Just look on Amazon, there are lots. This one seems pretty good. It’s 65w+40w (100w Max) which pretty good. I believe the Deck draws about 38-39w of power (even though the official ChARGER is 45w max), so either port will work for charging it.

Either way I strongly recommend a voltage meter in-between the the 12v socket and charger. It will have you accurate voltage of your vehicle battery while the engine is turned off that way you can charge steam deck with the vehicle off and at 12.2v from your battery you have to unplug everything because it may not start vehicle under 12.2v
