2010年12月10日 · What I found was the plastic actuator from the key that moves the metal tab that actually controls the lock is somehow angled back toward the rear of the van and past the metal tab enough that it fails to fully engage, with no adjustment visible.

2009年9月4日 · Once you've done the second lock action on the plip, walk around the van and check all the doors to see if one is unlocked. If you find one is open that pretty much indicates the problem door for you. If they are all locked get some fine emery paper and carefully clean the sprung contact pins on the right rear door and the side door.

It sounds like your sliding door actuator is faulty. When this happens it is impossible for the door to automatically open with the button as the actuator that's responsible for moving the system is not working. Unfortunately, actuator failures are very common with Mercedes which leads me strongly to believe this is the issue.
