2020年11月29日 · Smallville lost three of its original cast members all fairly close together in season 7. Lana (Kristin Kreuk), Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), and Lionel (John Glover) all left the show in the same season. All three characters had been around since the pilot.

Lana leaves Smallville. On the day she left, Clark was too busy to see her off at the airport, but Lex was there to wish her well. Though Clark showed up, he left without saying goodbye to her, leaving a white rose behind. Lana saw him and crosses the street to him, but he disappeared and Lana found the flower he was going to give her.

She finally leaves in season 8. It took long enough. End of season 7, but comes back for a proper exit in season 8. Without spoiling anything huge: her ending is probably the saddest and most heartbreaking ending for Clark, because if things hadn't happened the way that the do, they would have stayed together. Sorry Clois fans, but it's true.

2023年1月27日 · I think the issue is they broke the Lana character into Chloe and Lana. Fans wanted Chloe back and they didn’t know how to write the two of them. But, Lana could have worked in season 4 with a different arc involving the stones.

Lana met Clark at his barn and told him she was leaving Lex, and Smallville, to escape. Clark told her his secret in an attempt to get her to stay, but she only kissed him and left after telling him, "You're still the same Clark Kent to me."

Lana was way more patient and understanding about Clark's secrets than fans give her credit for. And in season 4, the issues were less about his secret and more about her thinking he'd told the school about her relationship with Jason (and even that lasted only a few episodes). Lana didn't take over half the show to share her secrets with Clark.
