Robert Edward Brooks (born 11 March 1966), [1] better known by his ring name Robbie Brookside, is a retired English professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he works as a trainer/producer for the NXT brand. He has toured all over the world during his career, wrestling in the United States, Japan, Germany, and Mexico.

Once dubbed by a British announcer as the “tall boy from Liverpool,” Brookside clawed his way into wrestling when seemingly everybody was working to prevent that fate.

Breaking into the sport as a teenager, Brookside came to fame in the U.K.’s rough-and-tumble wrestling scene in the 1980s, often teaming alongside WWE legend William Regal, who counts Brookside among the greatest influences on his career.
