At one time there were five distinct communities in Garfield County, Washington, not including the city of Pomeroy. In 2010-2011, the Denny Ashby Library worked with the Garfield County Museum and the community at large to gather a collection of photos revealing the towns of Columbia Center, Gould City, Mayview, Pataha City, and Peola.

2019年10月24日 · Muriel Bott gave an interesting history on three important historic landmarks in the county: Pataha Flour Mill, the building at Columbia Center which was part of the old Bean and Blackman sawmill constructed in 1876, and the Mayview tramway site which also offers an excellent view of the Snake river.
