Thunder Karlsson and Bloom are the secondary antagonists of Warner Bros Animation's 1997 film Pippi Longstocking and the main antagonists of the TV series. Thunder Karlsson was voiced by Canadian-American actor Dave Thomas (who also played Sam Sleaze in the 1985 Sesame Street film Follow That Bird) in the film.

Pippi, meanwhile, has befriended two neighbouring children, Tommy and Annika. The criminals attempt several times to steal the coins, but are always foiled.
