2021年1月13日 · I found Penguin Tetras to be quite aggressive with each other and in a small shoal the weakest individual was picked on until it die. Then, the next weakest was attacked and so on. My shoal dwindled gradually down to a single fish though this took a few years and the fish were otherwise healthy.

2010年4月6日 · I have 3 penguin tetras, and so far I have not seen any tail-nipping with my guppy. They are really nice shooling fish, and they like to school with my halequins too. Personally, I recommend them- but I might just have some lucky ones!

The problem is that one of the small penguin tetra keeps nipping on one of the black phantom. He almost nipped his tail fin completely, and I am afraid that he kills him. He keeps following him in the tank to nip his fins off.
