2025年1月22日 · HARRISBURG —- Today, following his swearing-in ceremony as the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, Attorney General Dave Sunday delivered his inaugural address to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The following is the address as prepared for delivery:

“The Office of Attorney General is here to assist Pennsylvanians using every tool at our disposal. Whether you’ve been scammed out of $35 or $35,000 – let us know. We rely on the tips from Pennsylvanians to make our communities safer, and take every complaint we receive seriously.”

The law requires that all contractors who perform at least $5,000 worth of home improvements per year register with the Attorney General’s Office. We have worked to ensure that the registration process is as quick and easy as possible.

The Director of the Public Protection Division reports to the Attorney General and the First Deputy Attorney General and is responsible for keeping members of the Executive Office advised of all non-routine or sensitive matters.
