2018年9月19日 · Ultimately I decided acrobatics is kind of an under-used skill at a lot of tables, so letting moonshadow elves have the edge in grapple defense wasn't too bad of a side-effect of the ability. The speed was originally 35, as per wood elf, but I bumped it to 40 due to the thematic condition of only being at night.

2019年11月27日 · EDIT: I've already changed a bit of the things you guys told me. Now all of this subraces lose the traits Trance, Fey Ancestry and Keen Senses. The Moonshadow elves now don't have proficiency with all finesse weapons, just some of them and sickles. The Sunfire Elves have lose the ability to build sunforged weapons, I realize it was too powerful.

2024年6月25日 · I had this headcanon for some time. The Tidebound elves are the complete antithesis of the Moonshadow elves. They don’t confuse harmful and toxic behaviour for honour. They don’t punish their own based on assumptions. And they don’t jump to conclusions. They also tend to not get along well with Moonshadow elves.

2024年5月5日 · Elves appear to be at the same levels as dragons or slightly lower. They are connected to the nature and can do useful magic that doesn’t cost anything. Removing moonshadow is losing one arcanum and risking rebellion from other elves, which could be brutal (multiple Finnegrins paralysing one dragon…).

2020年10月2日 · Calling the Moonshadow elves stupid backward savages because they live in wooden huts and have traditions you feel are barbaric isn't much different than calling a Native American a savage. A city is not necessarily a requirement for a civilization, the Sunfires are just as much of a civilization as the Moonshadows are.

The element of surprise in combat is enormous. Hollywood likes to downplay it when it favors the protagonist, but in reality the one with the element of surprise is far more likely to accomplish their goal than not. Consider also that the moon shadow elves were borderline invisible and you have a nearly insurmountable advantage.
