Mont des Arts is an urban leisure area that includes a very nice garden area as well as the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR), Square Brussels and the National Archives of Belgium. It extends from Place de l'Albertine to Coudenberg.

The Mont des Arts garden is located below place Royale and provides a green transition between the upper and lower parts of the city, between the Royal Quarter and the Grand-Place in the city's historical centre.
