I have been having symptoms for five months. Yes I have constipation and I eat prunes everyday and been taken miralax everyday for five years and I find it works. I still have bloating and abdominal pain very much. That is why I had the CT which said I have moderate stool burden throughout the colon and sigmoid colon. I hope I answer you correct.

Moderate stool burden on CT means that colonic motility is reduced and you can improve it with dietary+lifestyle modifications and rule out conditions like low thyroid hormones, diabetes etc. With a tumor there would be many other features on CT and there would be symptoms as well. Hello, Yes there is problem of constipation and he needs to be evaluated by pediatric gastroenterologist to rule out congenital defect in ganglion cells of a section of sigmoid colon causing hirschprung's disease (congenital megacolon).
