2012年12月15日 · There is a nice looking pair of Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1 speakers close to me for $250. I do not know anything about Magnepan speakers but do know that this model is an older model (year?). Is $250 a good price if all in nice condition? How do these speakers sound?

2015年3月10日 · I have an opportunity to go and listen to a pair of Magnepan MG 1.4's tomorrow. They have previously been used in a recording studio, and have been refurbished once, and according to the current owner, sound exactly as they should with no rattle.

1989年1月4日 · Tested and confirmed working. Does not handle low bass well as they tend to buzz a bit but when paired with a crossover it helps tremendously. Magnepan is known for unique sound and has a great reputation in the hi-fi community. Reverb has your back if your item is lost, damaged, or doesn't match its description.

2011年8月10日 · Going from the MMG to MG 1.4 - would it be a trade up, down, or even? I suspect better bass but maybe not as extended highs on the 1.4, but I could be wrong (quite often am.) Anything else to consider?
