Dec 3, 2024 · Ever since the apple wallet came out, I’ve switch to exclusively using magsafe wallets. Haven’t had a normal bi-fold wallet since. I’d say im at a solid 12 magsafe wallets and just cycle through them or keep one in the car if for some rare reason i need more than 2-3 cards

Oct 15, 2020 · Tap only works if the card is literally within a few mm of the machine (you basically have to tap it on the machine). If my debit card and credit cards with tap are in my pocket and I use Apple Pay there's no confusion as to what card it uses - it only uses the card that comes within a few mm of the spot on the machine you need to "tap".

Feb 14, 2013 · The 4th card I need is my company credit card. All of them in my wallet on my phone and watch, but the card is what I mainly use, I carry the card for places like restaurants that take your card to scan it or business that don’t have Apple Pay.

Oct 29, 2020 · Well, after seeing the concerns about the magsafe wallet falling off easily when going in/out a pocket I decided to try and make my own, and improve the design. It works beautifully, secures strongly, and figured it would be worth it to you all. I added my own magnet array and shielded the cards from getting damaged.

I would think any additional space between the magnet and the wallet will make it essentially useless. I’m anxious to see more hands on videos because even using it without a 3rd party case, the wallet still may barely hang on to the phone.
