2023年11月3日 · The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), Cairo’s newest and largest museum dedicated to ancient Egypt, has a new exhibition: The Tutankhamun Immersive Experience, dedicated to Egypt’s famous pharaoh, “King Tut”.

Items from the largely intact tomb of Yuya and Tjuyu (King Tut's great-grandparents; the parents of Tiye who was the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian pharaoh Amenhotep III) are also included. Yuya and Tjuyu's tomb was one of the most celebrated historical finds in the Valley of the Kings until Howard Carter's discovery in 1922.

2023年11月21日 · The Grand Egyptian Museum opened the Immersive Tutankhamun Exhibition, through which visitors can embark on a journey with the golden King Tutankhamun, who dazzled the world with his tomb.

On Nov. 4, 1922 a team of Egyptian workers led by Howard Carter and financed by Lord Carnarvon uncovered the Tomb of King Tutankhamun. To mark this centennial, the Department of Egyptian Art has devised a self-guided tour through our New Kingdom galleries called Tutankhamun’s World.
