2014年11月13日 · A karambit is something I’ve always liked the looks of, as well as the functionality. I’ve come close to buying several customs in the passed but never pulled the trigger. I own a variety of knives all with different materials/steels from scales to blade. All that said, I’m a buy once, cry once kind of person.

2016年8月5日 · This is because the design of a karambit makes it very likely you will miss and strike on the spine of the blade. Also Emerson makes knives that are karambits but do not have a hawkbill blade. For example a karambit with a cqc7 like blade. Since kbits are usually carried as self defensive knives I believe any folding karambit NEEDS a wave feature.

If you're looking for something cool and cheap, the hibben claw ii is a great karambit. Claw ii has a design that suits the real purpose of Karambit knives.

I know this wouldn't function as a typical Karambit because of the 2 holes, but I think the concept is to function as more of an abbreviated "brass knuckles".

If you're standing in your living room "flailing" your karambit around and whacking things, yeah no shit the blades gonna close you're using it improperly. Even as a defensive weapon you stab and slash with a karambit, not spin it around your finger and whack stuff around your house.
