After destroying a knight, an egg will fall to the ground. The player must touch the egg to destroy it before the egg hatches into a more powerful knight. If the egg hatches, it is still harmless and may also be destroyed (by touch) prior to the new knight mounting the new buzzard.

Today we took the day off to drink and pour beer over each other, but the *real* work starts tomorrow, since I'll be learning how to joust opponents.

When you unseat a Buzzard Rider in a joust, he and his mount turn into an egg and float ominously around the jousting arena. If you grab the egg, it will disappear and you'll score bonus points. If you don't grab the egg it will eventually hatch into an even more dangerous opponent.

After the second wave of attacking Buzzard Riders, the Troll's fire burns away the bridges that kept the jousters safe from the Troll of the Lava Pits. If the Troll captures you, you may be able to escape by flying away fast and breaking his grip.
