Plus, Momoa has never expressed interest in playing Lobo. Momoa has said time and time again he was always typecast as the tough guy or villain and he didn’t want that.

That was the problem with Man of Steel - you can't do a proper telling of Clark accepting himself as a hero, the last of his kind, and part of the human race and then immediately undercut it by introducing another alien in the same movie.

2023年1月31日 · The quote is correct though, but it can easily be interpreted as: Momoa will play Lobo & someone new will play Aquaman. Given that Gunn was very vague about it and basically said "We'll talk about it after Aquaman 2 releases", makes me believe moreso that Momoa WILL be Lobo, and we'll have a new Aquaman in the DCU.

2023年12月21日 · Man, I'm scared to death WB fucks up Lobo if they ever made it. He's probably one of my favorite comic book characters ever and he could definitely have similar success to Deadpool films if done right. And yes, Jason Momoa couldn't be more perfect.
