2022年3月6日 · This is completely untrue. Hydrocolloid bandages (not just pimple patches) are used specifically for providing open wounds a better environment to heal than their natural environment. In any medical handbook or textbook, this is how they are described. Basic hydrocolloids have no ability to pierce pimples on their own.

Personally, I don't recommend using them. They don't let air get to the wound to help it heal and can make a small wound much worse in a short period of time.

Today while kneeling to pick something up the patch burst from the strain and fluid buildup. I have removed the patch, the wound remains wet, and continues to weep.
