2024年11月30日 · Lots of opinions and experiences if you keyword search "waders" here. Service use also depends how you use them, need to abuse them, and how often you wear them. Along with how you care for and store them. I'd guess "decent" hunting waders (insulated/boot foot) these days run you $299-$425. How long you get from them varies a lot (as above).
Layers for under waders - Duck Hunting Forum
2015年6月9日 · No cotton, like others have said. Cheap fleece from Old Navy is better than any sweat pants. You want 100% polyester fleece. You take off your waders and cotton will be damp or wet. With fleece the waders will be damp or wet inside and you will be dry. I do a lot of late season hunting when there is snow, ice, and cold into the teens.
Waders - Duck Hunting Forum
2022年1月8日 · I use stocking foot waders for fly fishing. I recently needed breathable waders for duck hunting and went with the Rogers Toughman 2.0 with the built in boot. The thing I like about these is they have a zip out insulated lining. That way I can take it out for early season and put in for late season. I also prefer the built in boot vs the ...

Hunt in Simms Waders? | Duck Hunting Forum
2016年1月2日 · Ive been wearing Simms for the past 3-4 years, some people spit up at the thought of paying that much for waders. The way i see it, I was going through a cheap pair every season or hell even half a season and ive already made up my money on that side. Gore Tex is the bomb, and dont use anything else for hunting/fishing.
Flex Seal on Waders??? - Duck Hunting Forum
2016年11月1日 · To find leaks, I wet my waders, add a thin layer of dish soap over the outside of suspected area, then blow air into the waders from a shop vac to inflate the waders. The hole will bubble where the pin hole leak is. Wash the dish soap off, dry, then add 3m 5200. A week later, you'll have a patch that won't leak for a good while.
USIA waders review - Duck Hunting Forum
2013年10月2日 · For me it just seemed like neoprene waders just never last the seems are just prone to leaking after stretching and contracting a bunch. Plus all the better waders made macks, lacrosse, or cabelas are not much less than the USIA's. I figured if I was gonna spend 200-300 for good waders I was going to give that money towards American jobs.
Hunting waders vs Fish waders | Duck Hunting Forum
2012年1月3日 · I would definatly get some good insulated hunting waders. I like around a 400 gram thinsulate. Trust me, if you think you can handle the cold its a big mistake in duck hunting. I suppose fishing waders would work as long as you wore enough socks that would wick moisture from your skin. Make sure not to wear cotton socks because it holds water.

2011年12月8日 · Go to cabelas, footwear, waders, hunting waders, and buy a pair. If you are in the south or are warm bodied buy breathables, if you live in the north or are cold blooded buy neoprene. (I live in NY but like breathables). Bibs are for if you hunt out of a boat, a field blind, or a nice blind were other people set decoys and get your dead ducks.
Simms Waders - Duck Hunting Forum
2013年5月28日 · I have used Simms waders for many years they are the best breathable waders money can buy. They are expensive but last a long time and are made in the USA. The knee area is real thick I think five layer thickness so are plenty strong for duck hunting.
