2014年12月15日 · This mill fits the niche between a chainsaw mounted Alaskan, and a larger, more automated mill like the Woodmizer type. The Alaskan is SLOW, noisey, slow (did I mention that ?) and a lot of work. That was my first mill. The real advantage of them is you can saw up a log where it fell, and you can cut a beam 20-40' long if you have enough tree.

2021年11月8日 · The harbour freight bandsaw mill will more than likely be able to cut what you want to cut. It is just not going to be super efficient. The thing with that sawmill is its going to take longer to cut a board due to many factors. see sawing will be one of the big factors.

2015年2月26日 · I have read many reviews online for the harbor freight sawmill. The majority seem to really like the mill. Being on the shoestring budget I doubt that you could buy the parts and build a mill for the cost of the HF mill . Also there is a 20% coupon you can print off the Internet. They seem to cost about $ 1800.

2014年4月7日 · I wanted to be able to mill 16' wood so I built a trailer frame with an extension for my new Harbor Freight Mill. I only wanted to move Mill around my property so the axle just sits under the frame so I can remove it and put the Mill on the ground or wood ties. I got some oak logs and some smaller scraps so I have been practicing on the scraps.

2014年1月21日 · A 4 deg. blade will cut pretty much everything you can put on the little mill ( or any lower hp band mill for that matter ) with excellent results and productivity. Since the HF mill doesn't have roller guides, the 0.045" thickness GREATLY improves the cut quality and surface finish of the lumber. As for re-sharpening, I've got that covered.

2009年8月2日 · The Harbor Freight Central Machinery sawmill in it's 2012 rendition is exactly the same as the Woodland Mills sawmill, without handle grips and a few other niceties. I ordered mine in early July 2012 and received it mid July 2012. I paid about $2200 including shipping.

2016年5月6日 · (Maybe Harbor Freight should search for "Bibbying" a log here on the Forestry Forum). Initial break-in period for the engine is 3 hours. That's also the approximate time of running for 1 tank of gas. Oil is supposed to be changed every 20 hours. I used the blade that came with the saw for the entire first tank.
