Extreme Reactors - Turbines, are they worth it? : r/feedthebeast
May 30, 2022 · The best possible turbine setup is 24 ludicrite blocks and 80 blades. 2b/t steam will produce 24k rf/t with default settings. Other than this, the key to using the turbine is balancing the blades and coils vs steam input to keep the speed at 900 or 1800 rpm. Blades speed up the rpm, coils slow it down, and the peak output is at those speeds.
ATM9 - In my opinion the best Extreme Reactors Turbine.
Apr 26, 2024 · Yeah I always go Mekanism because it scales well with basic crafting recipes, extreme reactors need like 4 or 5 multi blocks, a couple reactors to make the actual ingredients for the optimal reactor, and then a whole fleet of multiblock turbines just to make the equivalent of 2 fusion reactors, which occupy maybe 4 or 5 chunks each if all component parts are laid out …
Is Extreme Reactors Turbine a good idea? : r/feedthebeast - Reddit
Sep 13, 2019 · Passive Reactors can be directly throttled to closely match your current power demands. Either setup can be turned on/off completely with an RS-Nor Latch (which can be based off of the power stored in the Reactor/Turbines), and a Turbine can have the coil disengaged to significantly minimize drag (RMP loss) at the cost of not producing power ...
Extreme reactors: direct Rf vs turbine vs Mekanism turbine power
Jun 14, 2020 · A 5x5x5 reactor is pretty small (and "Extreme Reactors" is an almost direct port of "Big Reactors" from MC 1.7.10). It only generates ~10k RF/t. The 'maxed-out' Turbine is probably more than twice the size of this example Reactor on its own. Just tripling the height of this reactor to a 5x5x15 brings it up to 30k RF/t...
Whats the best coil material for Extreme Reactors 2 for the
Feb 10, 2021 · I am playing Direwolf20 at 1.16.5, but the best material for my reactor turbine I can find seems to be gold. Which is kinda shit, ngl. Does anyone know the data of Netherite blocks? Or any other blocks that are in the modpack and better than gold?
Help with reactor/turbine setup - Feed the Beast
Apr 26, 2016 · Either angle works; that was the "short" answer for someone learning about big reactors. You can adjust the turbines to handle the steam, or adjust the steam to handle the turbines. The longer answer involves going to the reactor designer to create a reactor that generates a perfect amount of steam for X turbines with the best fuel efficiency ...
1.16.3 / 1.16.4 Extreme Reactors 2 : Turbines are in!
Nov 22, 2020 · 98 votes, 20 comments. true. This is the big problem with both Big(ger) and Extreme Reactors 2 Mods, the Steam Generated by Mekanism, is a Gas, as you know, but what both Big(ger) and Extreme Reactors 2 Turbines are looking for, is Liquid Steam, or Irradiated Steam (from the Reactors Mods).
Extreme reactors turbine setup : r/allthemods - Reddit
Jun 14, 2024 · Extreme reactors turbine setup So i've been trying to get my turbine optimized and i've dealt with some issues. I assume that insanite is the best inductor for power there is and went with 35 blocks per turbine.
Big Reactors: Turbine setups - Feed the Beast
Jul 7, 2015 · I was wondering if anyone has a turbine setup that could generate a good amount of RF. I'm not using a BR for steam FYI, I'm using steam boilers. Also, I have enough resources to make around 35 ludicrite blocks and I also have 29 enderium blocks. If someone could also provide a world download...
Big Reactors: A spreadsheet, mechanics summary and reactor …
May 15, 2014 · Namely a 7x7x16 turbine with 4, 8 block coils of ludicrum and 80 blades. it produces ~27800 RF/t and consumes 2B/t. If you want more information, I suggest you take a look at this spreadsheet made by @Saice. A screenshot of the turbine aswell as the reactor used wich produces just under 2000mB/t good for a fuel efficiency of 617M RF per fuel ingot:
