2024年10月24日 · Understanding Cy5 and Its Properties. Cy5, or Cyanine 5, is a fluorochrome that absorbs light at approximately 650 nm and emits fluorescence at around 670 nm. Its long-wavelength emission makes it particularly useful for applications where minimal interference from the sample’s autofluorescence is desired.
