Children's Zoo Description This seasonal attraction is a place where kids can have up-close encounters with prairie dogs, North American porcupine, and fennec foxes, and also pet and feed the gentle animals of the farmyard.

Home to sheep, goats, zebu, and more, plus plenty of opportunities for young visitors to crawl, jump, climb, and pretend to be animals, the Children’s Zoo always brings out the child in everyone. Open year-round. Please note: availability of animal feeding is limited to 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Schedule is subject to change. Thank you for your understanding.

From our rescued wildlife to our endangered species, and everything in between, we LOVE animals! The Saginaw Children’s Zoo is home to more than 150 mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates (not counting the insects) year round! They mean the world to us. Each is named and cared for by our amazing zookeepers and veterinarian.

Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo blends expert animal care, interactive learning elements, and tactile experiences to teach visitors of all ages about the interdependency of living things. This kid-friendly home for North American animals lets visitors get nose to nose with red wolves, black bears, North American river otters, and American beavers.
