2008年6月4日 · Charizard's recovery outshines Bowser's simply because Bowser jumps like a lead brick and his Whirling Fortress is high-priority, but predictable. Charizard is also quicker with his Forward Smash, and his other two smashes are great as well. His throws are also much better than Bowser's, with a little more fling and power.

2015年12月7日 · Charizard's fantastic run speed is pretty much the shining star of this match-up as it allows him to quickly break Samus' zone to prevent her from completely walling you out. Typically Zard struggles against projectile based characters but due to Samus' zoning options being fairly slow it's not too bad vs her.

2021年10月21日 · In XY Charizard got two Mega Evolutions while Venusaur and Blastoise got only one. And in Sword and Shield Charizard got to be in the base game, got a Gigantamax form, and was the ace of the game's Champion, Leon, while Venusaur and Blastoise had to wait until the Isle of Armor to get theirs.

2014年10月3日 · Charizard is a heavy character so having a little extra damage isn't terrible, and having another kill option is really good. Not to mention you can catch people in rolls, which can be very hard in this game for slowish characters.

2019年11月2日 · Squirtle and Ivysaur would each be able to have their own down special, and Charizard would have his rock smash move again; I want that feeling of getting to use Charizard’s rock smash again. If there is any way possible, I hope in the future the team of devs for the Smash series can make them each their own character like they were in Project M.

2019年10月15日 · Dragonite probably wouldn't have a sweetspot on any of his tail moves like Charizard and would have a normalized knock-back all across his tail hits much like Lucina gets with her sword compared to Marth. Perhaps Dragonite would even get an extra jump or two? Overall, Dragonite would make for a more 'balanced' fighter compared to Charizard.
