I need to create block diagrams (which will simply consist of rectangulars connected to each other with arrows, summing and multiplication circles). Microsoft Office 2013 is installed in my school lab, but Microsoft Visio is not included in it (the lab manager said that they had to pay more for Visio and it is not used much in our department).

That above is a nice pic. From the P4 days, so a bit old, but simple and clear. I have included a more modern one too but this one helps understand the basic structure a bit more since there's less on it, and it's good to have a few pics, and you rightly wanted a few.

Using Notepad++ and Npp Export works great, but your text will end up with a white background. To remove it, paste first the text in word with the "preserve source formatting" option.

Otherwise, UAC will block program (without prompt or any clue what happened) and it will never start. The above worked for me when I replaced spaces with underscores from the Scheduler Folder and Task name
