2015年11月2日 · The Nimitz-class is a sea dominance ship, capable of projecting heavy firepower very far, while the Kuznetsov-class is an air defense ship, meant to provide air cover to a surface group and friendly boomers, but not to do large anti-shipping operations. Sure, it has a dozen Granit missiles, but those won't really help against the CAP of a Nimitz.

2016年10月20日 · Thing is the Kuznetsov is not a proper carrier (that was the Ulyanovsk's job) so it's best bet is to act like a Kirov in all those Kirov vs carrier debates; sail towards the enemy and hope its air defenses can blunt air attacks enough to survive getting into AShM range at which point it either wins and/or dies gloriously for the Motherland.
