2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

2025年1月14日 · God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to care for and nurture the land. He told Adam and Eve that they could eat from any fruit from the trees except for the tree of good and evil. God warned them that if they ate from the tree, they would die.

The answer is that we do not know. But, based on other biblical evidence, we can assume that their time in the garden was relatively short.

The Garden of Eden provides a safe haven for Adam and Eve, and God, like a watchful father, wishes to keep his children innocent. He doesn’t want them to grow up and learn what evil is. But there comes a time when all of us have to grow up and lose our innocence.

2011年1月2日 · God created a beautiful garden in a place he called Eden. In this garden, he put trees, plants, lakes, and animals. Flowing from Eden was a river that split into four separate rivers – Pishon, Gihon, Tigris, and Euphrates. God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden and instructed him to care for it.

After creating Adam, God “put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it” (Genesis 2:15). God then created Eve, “a helper comparable to him” (verse 18). In this environment, Adam and Eve had safety, abundant food, meaningful work and fellowship with God. To say that life was good in the Garden of Eden would be an understatement. Life was great!

So one day, Adam and Eve were walking in the garden, trying out the delicious foods. Adam had probably just gotten a slice from the pizza tree. Eve was off picking chocolates from the chocolate bush. Ok…maybe there weren’t THOSE kinds of trees, but it was a bunch of good stuff!

Adam was all alone in the garden with no one to help him. So, God put Adam into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs and formed it into a woman to be Adam's wife. Adam named her "Eve."

2018年3月4日 · In Genesis 2:24-25, Adam and Eve became one flesh, suggesting that they enjoyed sexual relations in the garden. Innocent and free from sin, they lived naked and unashamed. They were comfortable with their physical bodies and their sexuality.
