2016年7月10日 · It seems like there is a setting in the pcm that has to be changed in order for the tach to work correctly on 95+. You will want the longer throttle and cruise control cables from a 96-98 vortec truck. Great, thanks for your help! I'll probably skip the cam, but it depends how funds go in the next couple of months.

2006年9月21日 · Ideally, you'd want to get a Motor/Tranny combo, and have a custom drive shaft done up. Keep it Professional Grade. Use Genuine GM Parts. The site is owned by Alan Nelson from Nelson Performance, but there are quite a few people who have swapped LSx based engines into all kinds of things. There are a lot of good threads on there.

2016年12月6日 · I have a 5.3 with a 1997 4L60e as daily driver and have put 10k miles since the swap. U have to get the adapter for the flexplate and longer bolts. Also install a corvette servo and it helps the trans as well as a trans cooler and u should be fine

2016年2月15日 · The 1995 and 2000 4l60 are in different generations but use the same 12 pin case connector. Both generations use a 298mm input shaft and torque converter so it seems like they would match up mechanically.

2022年5月11日 · For my 5.3 lm7 swap I upgraded my intake manifold, throttle body, injectors/ fuel system, electric fans etc but left the internals stock ( for now) I would call this the middle road. A cam shaft is my next step.

1996年4月3日 · Can I just switch the bellhousing over to the "LS" style or do I still need some kind of adaptor? I've read varying opinions on this. Some say input shafts are different and torque convertor spacing is different, etc. Anyone here done this yet?

2020年6月22日 · I have a 2001 tahoe lm7 DBC going into my 1995 c1500. I have most of everything I need except for the wiring harness. I believe I have found the wiring harness that would work for me.
