2024年8月8日 · This is the reference material that I think is wrong and what Ames uses to answer questions. It lists 44 as the top of cylinder (shorter hose) and shows it going to the top/front part of the pump. All other videos I’ve seen (although none were for a GTO) show the top of the cylinder (shorter hose) going to the bottom/back part of the pump.

2019年10月16日 · My 1968 gto convertible has a hole in the frame on the left rear as it turns to go up over the axle. Weighing my options of repair or replace. I found a 68 LeMans convertible parts car with a good frame.

I am looking at either Solar Red or Starlight Black. The car is a convertible with black interior and black top. Let me know which color you think would be best.

This is a car that I bought in Tucson over 30 years ago. I responded to an add that said "Convertible GTO...needs engine work and new top".

2018年1月2日 · Hints on rebuilding the convertible top pump: Had to clean out the electrical side of the pump because fluid was leaking past the shaft seal. Getting the brushes back in place was the toughest part. Bent a sliver of about 20 gauge steel 1/8" wide x 4 " long into a U-shape with the ends of the U about 3/4" apart.
