2009年2月23日 · If you are arriving on a weekday afternoon, you can take a direct bus from the airport to downtown (174/194, I believe) and a direct bus from downtown to Edmonds (416). On the weekend/off-peak times, you'll have to grab the 174/194 to downtown, grab the 511 to Lynnwood Transit Center, and change to the 110 to Edmonds. (Cheapest fare option)

2016年4月4日 · We are two 30-somethings, and will have our six month old riding along (I know this itinerary might be a bit ambitious with a little one, but hopefully there are enough car rides and times to take it easy to balance out). 2010年2月1日 · If not, Edmonds is an adorable town and I love to go there. It is nice to see the travel store items up close. Edmonds has lots of nice stores in their little downtown area --- check out the competition at The Savvy Traveler which has some travel items Rick doesn't carry.

2022年10月1日 · I was delighted to see that Rick Steves Europe is starting to offer live travel classes in Edmonds again with Rick presenting on Saturday, November 5th. This is another step toward prepandemic practices. It is probably a bit more exciting for those of us that live close enough to attend, but the return of travel classes is progress.

2023年12月5日 · Rick did put on two local “talks” last month. I used to love coming to a travel class on a Saturday morning, browsing the store, etc. I think that they may feel that they have a better outreach with Monday Night Travel.

2009年3月1日 · Where are you staying? The Edmonds Harbor Inn is wonderful, and within reasonably easy walking distance to ETBD. I enjoyed dining at Girardi's Italian (on 5th Avenue) and there's also a good Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot as the Harbor Inn. If you're driving to Edmonds, one note on the traffic issues that Chris mentioned.

2024年4月25日 · Edmonds is a great place to visit—-right on the water, nice walkable downtown, and a ferry over to Kingston which is also fun to explore. Not so enthusiastic about visiting Lynwood. We have only been to Mukilteo to get on the ferry to Whidbey Island; we like to camp up there at Fort Ebey State Park.

2025年1月28日 · I was there March 2023 and it was so unorganized. Make sure you pick up your tickets the day before. We arrived before 7am and were told the wrong place to line up.

2025年1月1日 · I admire Mr. Rick, too...but let's keep our admiration under check. His car? As I recall, it's an older Camry with moss growing on the sides. Considering the length of time he spends in Europe and the size of Edmonds, I'd guess he gets the "under 5.000 miles per year" insurance discount..
