2012年5月10日 · Probably your best (simplest) bet is to find someone here that is parting out a 75-76 Gremlin or Hornet with power brakes and get the complete booster and lever assem. and maybe the brake lines that go to the master, or just bend up some new ones. Then pick up a new power brake master Cyl. from any parts store.

2014年12月4日 · I have a 76 Gremlin too and the tank as you know is "loaf" shaped (deep and rather short, front to back). I suppose any model of Gremlin tank up through 76 will fit. In 1977 (had a 77 Gremlin too) they relocated the fuel filler to behind the license plate.

2015年8月30日 · Also driven 76 Gremlin 258 with non-power disc and it also stopped fine. Both need a little extra leg to stop because of non-power but good other wise. Now as for adding power vary few had power from the factory from what I have seen at shows so finding one from a Gremlin will be hard. The booster would have to be small to fit in that area.

2018年9月5日 · Just saw this thread & site & had to sort of laugh....I've been something of a "closet" AMC fan since my streetracing days in NYC when a friend had a home-built 390 Gremlin. I well remember the Car Craft article about the Randall Gremlins & years later actually met the Randall AMC employee responsible for actually doing the labor-----Tom Iverson.

2020年1月25日 · I'm wanting to go with power brakes on my 76 Gremlin. 401 with headers. Rock Auto is out of stock on the boosters and master cylinders. Local stores won't sell me the parts without a core. The car was a manual brakes car. What else could I use for power brakes? I'm thinking something off of another car or something from the aftermarket.
