Roy Wayne Farris (born January 25, 1953) is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his tenure in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) from 1986 to 1991, where he performed under the ring name The Honky Tonk Man. [1]

The Honky Tonk Man’s dastardly side helped him rack up victory after victory, earning him a title opportunity against Intercontinental Champion Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Honky used the ropes for leverage to pull off what is still considered one of the greatest upsets in sports-entertainment history.

Roy Wayne "Presley" Farris (January 25, 1953), better known by his ring name The Honky Tonk Man, is an American professional wrestler. A 1975 graduate from University of Memphis with a B.S. degree in Education, Farris coached high school football for two seasons at Munford High School in Munford, Tennessee.
