Clearly they don't want to clog up their pharmacies with appointments that don't make them money, vaccine appts being one of them. So they took down the ability to cancel. Walmart even has left up the 2 appointment slots, which means each person who schedules takes up 2 appointments not one. People over profits once again!

Look on his profiles and he had gotten two Covid vaccines from CVS on one profile and one dose on another. His vaccine card showed two doses from Walgreens, and one from a Walmart. EDIT: pharmacies and grocery stores all advertise “free” flu shots — but thats only the case if you have insurance! for example — CVS charges $40.99 if paying out of pocket.

2020年9月4日 · Calling the general number gives a recording saying that you can't just walk in and have to reserve online so I'm at a loss. My insurance covers CVS shots so not sure what to do. Update: Thanks for the replies! It looks like I can just show up to any CVS (at least those with a sign that mentions flu shots) and get one at the pharmacy.

2020年9月14日 · CVS introduced "Flu Surge Hours" this year, where essentially there is an extra rph and tech 6 hours a day 6 days a week just to give flu shots (number of hours vary by store volume). Last year, some stores got extra rph hours for 2 months for flu season as well, but I think this was on a smaller basis and was covered by the existing floater pool.
