Method 101 is a 4-week introduction to Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting technique. Each two-hour class includes instruction on Lee Strasberg’s relaxation and sense memory exercises. These fundamentals train an actor’s concentration, ability to respond to imaginary stimuli, and their individual creativity.

Method in Focus is a 4-week online class that specializes in a more focused study of Method Acting. Each class will train a certain technique that every actor will face in their career. Enrollment in Method in Focus requires previous study with LSTFI (Los Angeles campus, New York campus, or Method 101 ).

The James Baldwin Scholarship seeks to expand access to The Institute’s training programs for BIPOC actors who demonstrate exceptional passion, talent, and dedication to the craft of acting.

ONLINE ACTING CLASSES FOR KIDS & TEENS. The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute offers various Online Acting Programs for students in grades 7-12. Training at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles provides you with a variety of acting opportunities, both in class, at the Institute, and around Los Angeles.

Please only submit to the Casting Database if you have all of the requirements – headshot, full body shot, reel and acting resume – AND the materials are of professional quality (i.e. a level you would want casting directors, agents, managers, and other industry professionals to see).
