NFL Draft officially set to kick off later this week, mock drafts are all the rage as analysts scramble to assemble every last piece of data they can find to create perfect mock drafts and identify team fits.

According to Person and Jones, one NFC general manager believes every NFL team uses mock drafts to some extent and suggested that the teams that say they don't are lying. The Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cincinnati Bengals are among the teams that said on the record they rely on mock drafts to varying extents.

In our latest mock draft roundup, nine of the 12 most recent mocks have the Rams taking a defensive player with their top pick. The only exceptions are Josh Simmons, Jaxson Dart and Matthew Golden, who got picked by the Rams in one mock draft each.
