Vallow Daybell, who was already convicted in Idaho of killing her two youngest children and conspiring to murder a romantic rival, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of conspiring with another brother, Alex Cox, to murder Charles Vallow at her home in Chandler, a Phoenix suburb.

Lori Vallow Daybell is representing herself in the trial. The so-called “Doomsday Mom" is accused of planning the murder of her then-husband, Charles Vallow.

If convicted in Arizona, Vallow Daybell would face a life sentence. She has already received three life sentences in Idaho for the murders of her children Tylee Ryan and Joshua Jaxon "JJ" Vallow and for conspiring to kill Daybell's wife, Tammy Daybell.

Day four of the Lori Daybell murder conspiracy trial will begin with the state calling a new witness to the stand.

Things got tense Wednesday at Lori Vallow Daybell’s murder conspiracy trial when Daybell, acting as her own attorney, cross-examined the woman who went out with her spouse the night before he was killed in 2019.

The prosecution continued calling more witnesses, including a woman who went on a date with Charles Vallow the night before he died.

She is accused of conspiring to kill her former husband Charles Vallow. Prosecutors allege a potential motive tied to a $1 million insurance policy.
