More than 250 students in Texas had their status revoked in recent weeks. Despite the reversal, federal attorneys say they’re developing policies to resume terminations.

In a statement to KBTX, Texas A&M University confirmed Friday, 12 of the 23 students whose Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) records were terminated earlier this month have been returned to active status.

Hundreds of students and recent graduates in Texas have had their legal status changed by the U.S Department of State over the last few weeks.
