A total of 19 injured have been admitted at the Tata General Hospital in Munnar. Critically injured four persons were shifted to the Medical College Hospitals in Theni, Kolencherry and Kottayam.

Hikers find the highest vantage point in Munnar as it provides an awesome opportunity to view not only the landscape within the Western Ghats, but also the Theni Valley situated in Tamil Nadu.
