Swiss doctors in Neuchatel have started prescribing visits to art galleries, museums, and gardens for patients with mental health issues. This initiative, inspired by a WHO study on arts and health, aims to improve well-being and could lead to cultural therapy being covered by health insurance.

Swiss doctors are expanding the range of prescriptions they give for patients with mental health conditions, like depression, and chronic illnesses to include strolls in public gardens and art and history exhibits.
