IPOH: More than 25,000 Hindu devotees and tourists visited the Sri Subramaniar Temple at Gunung Cheroh on Thaipusam day, says Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri.

He said the temple will commence the construction of a multipurpose hall at Batu Caves after Thaipusam, which falls on Jan 25. The hall is expected to cost an estimated RM35 million.

IPOH: Over 400,000 Hindu devotees and foreign tourists are expected to throng the Sri Subramaniar Temple in Gunung Cheroh here to celebrate Thaipusam this year.
